New Stake Single Rep Called For Mobile Stake

Martha Causey from Lucedale, MS Branch was called last week to fill the shoes of the Stake Singles Representative for the Mobile Alabama Stake.  With the upcoming single conference it will be quite the challenge to organize and execute this wonderful activity.  We are all so thankful for Martha taking the reins and organizing the single adults to participate in activities which strengthen each member of the group.

Single Adult Conference Scheduled

Under the direction of President Harlan G. Spencer, the Mobile Alabama Stake is announcing the dates for our SINGLE ADULT Conference in October 2011.  

It will be October 28, 29, 30, 2001.

Our intentions are to make this Conference, “ A Spiritual Time” for all single adults.

The theme for the conference is:

Enduring Through Faith

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

(Hebrews 11:1)

Faith

Faith is like a warm candle flame,

A glow that keeps us strong,

And faith is there to see us through

When sometimes things go wrong.

We will have registration and more information and details via a special WEBSITE by August 20^th, 2011.

We expect that the Conference fees will be no more than $25.00 per attendee.

Three (3) Spiritual and Informative Workshops are being planned.
